Getex G Cream

Getex G Cream contains two key active ingredients:

• Clobetasol: A potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by inhibiting the production of certain chemicals in the body (prostaglandins). 
• Gentamicin: An antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of bacteria causing infections. 

It is used to treat a range of skin conditions, including:

• Eczema: A condition causing itchy, inflamed skin. 
• Psoriasis: A condition causing red, scaly patches on the skin. 
• Dermatitis: A general term for inflammation of the skin. 
• Other skin infections: Bacterial skin infections like impetigo. 

The combination of clobetasol and gentamicin provides a dual mechanism of action. Clobetasol reduces the inflammation and associated symptoms, while gentamicin targets and eliminates the bacteria causing the infection. 

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area, usually twice a day, or as directed by a doctor. 
• Wash and dry the affected area before application. 
• Avoid using it on the face, groin, or underarms unless specifically directed by a doctor. 
• Do not bandage or cover the area unless instructed by a doctor. 

• Inform your doctor about any allergies or other medications you are using. 
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this cream. 
• Use only as directed by your doctor. 
• Discontinue use if you experience any adverse reactions and consult your doctor. 
• Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or worsen after a week of use.
