Laxogol 100ml

Short Description :  Macrogol has a natural mode of action that works gently in the colon to relieve constipation. There’s no gain or loss in either water or electrolytes, because when it is mixed with water, Macrogol 3350 forms an ‘iso-osmotic’ solution – which is less likely to dehydrate the body. And once it’s worked to bring about a bowel movement, the active molecule, Macrogol 3350, is expelled from the body virtually unabsorbed.

Indication   :  Chronic constipation and fecal impaction

Dosage & Administration :    

• Measure 25 ml of Laxogol oral solution with measuring cup provided, then add this to 100 ml of water (total volume 125 ml). Any unused diluted solution should be discarded within 24 hours.
• Adults :
• Constipation : 25 ml of Laxogol  oral solution added to 100 ml of water (total volume of 125 ml) once daily . This may be increased to 2-3 doses (each 25 ml dose added to 100 ml of water) if required according to individual response.
• Fecal Impaction : 8 doses of 25 ml daily (each 25 ml dose added to 100 ml of water -Total 125ml) ) for not more than 3 days.
• Children (12 – 18 years) :

25 ml of Laxogol oral solution added to 100 ml of water(Total 125ml) once daily.
