Lecoxen Cream

Product Description:

• Protective and healing adjuvant cream.
• Cream with protective and moisturizing action on damaged skin and perilesional margins,
• Able to contribute to the formation of an optimal moist microenvironment to promote wound healing.
• Its use is also recommended after wound closure to prevent the formation of unsightly scars (keloids).

How to use:

• Make sure the affected wound is clean.
• Gently remove any excess exudates before applying the cream.
• Remove the cap and exert pressure on the tube to release an adequate amount of
• cream to be applied on the affected area and periwound margins.
• Gently remove any excess cream with a clean tissue or gauze. For best results, keep
• Lecoxen cream in constant contact with the wound and its margins. If necessary, cover
• the affected area with a secondary dressing.
• Close with the cap after use.
• Lecoxen cream should be reapplied when changing the dressing or checking the wound progress, at least every 24 hours, or according to the doctor’s advice. For the prevention of abnormal scars, it is recommended the use of Lecoxen cream for a minimum treatment of 60–90 days. Larger scars can take longer to heal.
• Recommended for children aged 3 and up.
• The product can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Caution & Warnings:

• Do not use the product in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
• Suspend the use of the product in case of skin irritation.
• If the product is used by third parties, the use of disposable gloves is recommended.
• Wash your hands well before use.
• Avoid contact with the eyes; if accidental contact with eyes occurs, immediately wash
• them with plenty of water.
• Do not swallow.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not leave the package open after use.
• Do not use the product after 6 months of opening.
• For external use only.
• Not suitable for highly exudative wounds, tunnelling wounds or 3rd degree burns.
• Lecoxen should not be applied over topical medications unless advised by your physician.
• If any adverse event occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.
• Do not use after the expiration (EXP) date printed on the tube.
